We are thrilled to share recent news and updates from the BayCare Clinic Foundation.
First, the BayCare Clinic Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to extend a warm welcome to new members Dr. Erik Johnson and Dr. Elizabeth O’Connor. The Foundation Board would also like to express its sincere gratitude to Dr. Anna Pierce for her many years of dedicated service.
Next, The BayCare Clinic Foundation is proud to announce two impactful grants awarded within the community including a $5,000 Health & Wellness Grant to BRAs of the Bay, and a $20,000 Mental Health Initiative Grant to The Center for Suicide Awareness in support of their Master Resilience Training program.
Plastic Surgery & Skin Specialists by BayCare Clinic is celebrating the 10th year of BRAs of the Bay! This initiative aims to raise awareness of breast reconstruction rights for breast cancer survivors, support breast cancer patients, fund local initiatives, promote health and wellness, enhance community engagement, and support research and advocacy. Congratulations on reaching this significant milestone!
The Center for Suicide Awareness’ mission is to "prevent suicide through proactive education, training, emotional support, collaboration, and intervention. Their Master Resilience Training program is an evidence-based program, developed by the US Army. It provides comprehensive training in stress management and resilience, benefiting first responders, law enforcement, medical personnel, and others who encounter traumatic situations.
Lastly, The BayCare Clinic Foundation congratulates the winners of the 2024 Faculty Professional Development Awards. These awards promote the professional development of faculty who are shaping the future healthcare workers of our community. Each recipient will receive funds to attend a conference related to their health profession. Listed below are the recipients selected in recognition of excellence in instruction and innovation in education:
