Conditions our hand surgeons treat
Our hand surgeons specialize in treatment of simple and complex hand, wrist and elbow conditions. They treat conditions that include but are not limited to:
- Nerve disorders
- Tendon injuries
- Fractures and dislocations
- Arthritis
- Work-related injuries
- Numbness in hands or fingers
- Wrist pain
- Tennis elbow
- Emergency and long-term hand conditions
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
With any treatment, our goal is to create individualized care plans to reduce pain, restore function, improve mobility, reduce the likelihood of further injury and return people to their normal activities as quickly and safely as possible.
Our hand surgeons often recommend an occupational therapist who creates an individualized program to help people regain strength and maximize range of motion. Those plans include preventive measures to decrease the chance of re-injury.
